II Corinthians 4:4


     "In whom the gods of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gosple of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."
     II Corinthians 4:4

      This verse is such an eye opener.  It is saying "that the gods of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gosple of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them."  The gods of this world, that would be things that people put over god, like T.V., Carnal music, sometimes science, and sometimes even other people.  The devil uses these thing to blind the people of this worl, so that they can't see the light of Christ.  The divil is trying to hide Gods light under a bushel, but Gods light is more powerful than the devil, His light can shine throught the bushel of sin, and false gods that the devil has created.  It is our job as Christians to shine Gods light.  How is the world supposed to see Jesus, if we aren't out there, shining for Jesus?  We must shine for Jesus, and show this world that there is a real God.

" Be careful of the conditional prayer that we as Christians (especially myself so often) make when feeling led by God to do something. He has already given His all - why do we still question whether or not we want to obey Him fully without reserve?

                         Thank you so much for your prayers and generous donation to my mission trip to Kenya, Africa.   Your prayers, and support  helped greatly.   God blessed, and worked greatly on my trip!  It was so amazing to see how God provided for my trip through all my friends and family.  I had an amazing summer in Kenya!  I spent a week in Wisconsin, training with my team.  Our training consisted of  team building, evangelistic training, and skill group training.  The skill group I was put in was puppets.  I loved being in puppets!  It was so much fun learning to dance and play.   While in Kenya, our ministry was in the slums of Nairobi.   We visited several childrens schools and orphanages.  We performed our puppet show for them, sang, played games, and danced.  We also made them dinner, an ethnic meal called “palau”, made up of rice, meat, and various seasonings.   It was a blessing getting to serve t
