Safe Travels
Mom and I took my brother back to college yesterday, so all my brothers are back in there respected places. Timothy went back to His base back in December, and now Micah is back at College. The trip down to Florida and back was a lot of fun, we mostly slept on the way out, seeing as though we had to get up at 3:45am that morning. We got to Pensacola Fl about 5pm Friday. Mom, Micah and I went to the Mall to look for some new shoes for Micah. Thankfully we were able to find a really good pair of shoes that fit him :-)
There were these Peicans in the town.
Mom and I really liked this one. It was the Marine Corps Pelican :-)
one of the vendors was selling these wooden fish.
My mom and I got to sleep in to 8am on Saturday, it was so great! we were both so tired. We ate a great Continental Breakfast at the Hotel we slept at, and the hotel was also right by the entrance to old down town Pensacola, it was really cool, so mom and I drove down through the area, looking at all the old houses and buildings. It was Saturday, so there was a Farmers market going on. I had never seen a Farmers Market so big before! I live in a small town, so our farmers market only consists of a few people selling baked goods and produce. But the Farmers Market in Pesacola had tons of venders set up, all sorts of people, selling all sorts of cool stuff. My mom and I could have spent hours there, but we never stopped the car to get out and look around, we had to get on the road and head home. But I have a good friend that lives in Florida, maybe some day if we are both in Florida on a Saturday we could hang out there for the day.
Here are some pics from the trip.

I liked this picture. We stopped at a Memorial for the Confederate Dead.
A pic of the base of the memorial.
A confederate solder was situated on top of the memorial.
a nice pic of a church through some trees.
I was pretending to fire the cannon.
I took more pics, but this is all I am going to post.
I hope you all enjoyed today's post. I have some drafts in my post box, I am going to try and finish and post soon.
Have a great day!
Journey Update:
I fell way behind in memorizing the Isaiah 40 verses, but I got back into it yesterday, I finally memorized verse 9, and will be working on 10, maybe 11 too, today.

Hey Anna,
ReplyDeleteI liked all your pictures! That would be a cool place to meet up one day. We like old downtown places. Keep up the memorizing!!!! I know it's hard to memorize every day, but I know you can do it!
Love,
Ashley
